JOE MOSELLO

Joe Mosello is one of the most respected lead trumpet
players in the business. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Joe went
on to play with the Maynard Ferguson Band for five years, where he was featured
as both lead player and soloist. He recorded four albums with Maynard, then
headed to New York City, where he has made his home until the present time.
Joe has been a member of the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra ( formerly Thad Jones-Mel
Lewis Orchestra) since arriving in NYC, 21 years ago. He has also been a
veteran of over a dozen Broadway Shows. He has performed with Frank Sinatra,
Ray Charles, Johnny Mathis, B.B. King, and Harry Connick Jr., to name a few.
Joe is currently in the orchestra of the new hit musical 42nd St., and touring
as lead trumpeter with Blood, Sweat, and Tears.
