Rich Szabo

Rich is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a veteran of the big bands having played in the bands of Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, Ray Anthony, Billy May, Tito Puente, Larry Elgart, Sammy Kaye, Xavier Cugat, Sonny Costanzo, Buddy Childers, Charli Persip, Charlie Ventura, The New Jersey Pops and Guy Lombardo's Royal Canadians.

His trumpet has backed such notables as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Melissa Manchester, Natalie Cole, Mel Torme, Al Martino, Jerry Vale, Margaret Whiting, Johnny Desmond, Keely Smith, Helen Forrest, Regis Philbin, Kathy Lee Gifford, Joel Grey, Steve Martin, Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, Frankie Valli, The Grass Roots, The Rolling Stones, The Four Tops, The Temptations.

He can be heard on many jingles for radio and television including Dr. Pepper, Buger King, Coca Cola, Ford. Rich also keeps busy as a clinician and guest soloist for Max Trumpets, as well as leading his own big band in New York City..
